Pastor - Rev. Rusty Ruark


Rusty (Alvin Russell Ruark, Jr.) moved to Loganville in 1973 from the booming metropolis of Bostwick, GA. His family attended First Baptist Church of Loganville, where he was involved with the youth group and met his future wife, Ginger Satterfield. He continued his education after high school at UGA, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Trinity Theological Seminary. Rusty accepted the call to pastor Loganville Baptist Church in December of 1996. Rusty and his wife Ginger have two daughters, Gracie and Carrie. Rusty enjoys playing golf and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.



Assistant Pastor/Minister of Youth - Rev. Phillip Ivey



Rev. Phillip Ivey joined the staff of Loganville Baptist Church as Assistant Pastor/Minister of Youth in April of 2016. Phillip has lived in Walton County all of his life, graduating from Monroe Area High School in 2007. Phillip went on to attend college at Baptist Institute of America in Loganville, GA where he graduated in 2011 with a BS in Theology. Prior to his ministry at LBC, Phillip served at Mount Vernon Christian Church in Monroe, GA and Bible Baptist Church in Monroe, GA, where he worked in the children's ministry. Phillip enjoys fishing, playing golf and also cheering for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Auburn Tigers, and the Atlanta Falcons.
